2 System Architecture
Secara global sistem AVLS MobileTracker ini terdiri dari beberapa bagian sebagai berikut:
1. Mobile Transmitter Unit. Modul yang diletakkan pada objek yang hendak dipantau posisinya.
2. Web dan Map Server. Server yang berfungsi untuk melayani permintaan dari pelanggan tentang informasi posisi dari objek-objek yang dimilikinya melalui teknolgi internet dan dengan interface berupa peta digital.
3. Database dan Hardware Interface Server. Berfungsi untuk menyimpan data-data posisi objek bergerak dan menterjemahkan dan memproses data yang diterima dari Mobile Transmitter Unit.
4. Web Browser. Program yang berada di sisi pelanggan yang berfungsi untuk memperlihatkan informasi posisi objek yang dimilikinya pada sebuah peta digital dengan kemampuan zoom-in, zoom-out, pan, reporting, select object, dan lain-lain. Pada program ini juga pelanggan dapat mengirimkan pesan dan perintah ke objek yang dimilikinya.
5. Wireless Network. Media yang digunakan sebagai penghubung antara objek bergerak dan base station.
Sistem dapat pula dikombinasikan dengan SMS Gateway agar para pengguna layanan Monica dapat menggunakan fasilitas AVLS melalui hand phone / SMS.
